PECI Residential Programs - New Homes

New Homes

PECI’s New Homes programs encourage energy efficiency in the new construction market. We’re raising the bar so that someday soon, building energy-efficient homes will be considered standard practice. Builder support, quality construction, and trade ally partnerships provide the foundation for our new homes programs.

Builder & Contractor Incentives
Through cash incentives, PECI encourages builders and contractors to make purchasing decisions with energy efficiency in mind. We view the home as a system, and offer incentives for added insulation, low-e windows, high-efficiency HVAC equipment, and energy-efficient appliances.

Manufactured Housing
Energy-efficient manufactured homes have built-in comfort and value, and deliver energy savings from day one. PECI programs offer incentives to retailers and consumers for ENERGY STAR, eco-rated and Earth Advantage certified homes.

Energy Performance Score
The Energy Performance Score (EPS) operates as a miles-per-gallon type rating system for homes. With EPS, we provide homebuyers a means to compare homes based on annual energy consumption, costs and carbon footprint. This tool also benefits builders who produce energy-efficient homes above code.

Marketing
PECI’s marketing campaigns complement our new homes programs. We offer marketing strategy and development, integrated campaign implementation, website development, and comprehensive advertising and PR services.

Trade Ally Training
By engaging trade allies and providing training and education materials, we empower builders and contractors to build energy-efficient new homes, and help realtors educate home buyers.
