With our in-house pilot, we are using our office space and advanced monitoring system to quantify energy savings, test our energy reduction strategies and gauge the maximum savings we can achieve without impacting occupant comfort.

In terms of energy monitoring, many buildings are only monitoring one point – whole building energy use. Through our in-house pilot, we are monitoring over 500 points and aggregating the point data to view energy use for major categories such as plug loads, data center loads, lighting loads and HVAC loads. This allows us to flag when energy use is outside of predictions and more precisely evaluate the effectiveness of our energy saving measures.
