  • PECI assists the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council in the development of continuing education classes as part of the Building Operator Certification (BOC) Program. The BOC Program is a competency-based training and certification program for building operators designed to improve the energy efficiency of commercial buildings. PECI convenes a curriculum committee to provide input on course development, and develops course curriculum, including an Instructor Manual and Student Handbook.

  • The US EPA ENERGY STAR Building Manual’s retrocommissioning chapter helps building owners and operators understand if the building is operating as intended, and helps them identify low- and no-cost opportunities for retrocommissioning.

  • Tudi Haasal and Terry Sharp, 1999. One of the most-used guides on applying commissioning to existing buildings. Includes a summary of commissioning terminology, details on roles of team members and the phases of retrocommissioning.

  • This guide was developed by PECI with funding from the US EPA ENERGY STAR Program. The comprehensive guide covers the business case for retrocommissioning and describes the process step-by-step, including key strategies for success, helpful resources, and an Appendix of templates and samples.

  • California Commissioning Collaborative. Includes standardized spreadsheet tools as well as sample and template documents (RFP, owner’s operating requirements, Cx plan, final report, and others).

  • Information, support and trainings tailored to commercial, industrial and agricultural customers.

  • This colorful, informative brochure is designed to help commissioning providers sell their services to owners and is derived from a database of 175 case studies of commissioning of new construction, equipment replacements, and upgrades in existing facilities, and “tune-up” work for existing facilities.
