PECI Adds William J. Parlapiano III as HVAC National Field Operations Manager

PECI, a leader in the field of energy efficiency solutions, announced the hiring of William Parlapiano as its new National Field Operations Manager for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).

Parlapiano, who is based in New York, will play a key role in supporting PECI’s growing presence in the Northeast. He will be responsible for working closely with key HVAC industry stakeholders to develop and refine market engagement strategies, operationalize industry initiatives and ensure both internal and external HVAC capabilities are supported.

Brian Van Buskirk, PECI’s HVAC Practice Director added, “Mr. Parlapiano’s relationships in the Northeast and at national level coupled with his outstanding record of effective HVAC industry outreach will bring tremendous value to PECI in further expanding our service offerings nationwide and in delivering deeper energy efficiency savings to our clients.”

Most recently, Mr. Parlapiano was with Masco Home Services, WellHome, part of Masco Corporation, a Fortune 500 company where his responsibilities included technical training and operational support, as well as field mentoring for 23 locations from coast to coast. Previously, Mr. Parlapiano ran his own consulting practice, providing business and technical workforce development support primarily to the remodeling and specialty trade contracting industry. He was also the Chief Executive Officer of the Building Performance Institute, a national credentialing and standards organization serving the existing homes and multi-family housing sectors. He has worked at New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and has many years of experience as a mechanical contractor focused on Residential and Commercial HVAC and Building (Forensics) Performance. He is also a United States Army Veteran.
