Michael Chelednik and Murray Guy will review the American Institute of Architects’ Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) process and discuss why commissioning is an integral part of this practice. The session will provide understanding of commissioning’s role in the IPD process, offering educational opportunities for commissioning providers, architects and owners. Guy will make the case that IPD respects the expertise of all players in the design and construction industry, and produces a better product at less cost, leading the way for a much needed paradigm shift in the building construction industry.
