ThermWise Builder Rebate Program
The ThermWise Builder Rebate Program drives increased market penetration of high-performance, energy-efficient homes and natural gas savings to Questar Gas customers through the use of builder rebates. Utah homebuilders can receive up to $1,200 for building an ENERGY STAR® home and choosing to install higher efficiency space and water heating equipment within those homes. Raising the bar even higher, the Program rolled out a rebate in 2008 for builders whose homes achieve the ENERGY STAR and Federal Energy Tax Credit certification.
New for 2008, the ThermWise Multifamily Builder Rebate Program offers builders of multifamily properties (five or more units) rebates for building ENERGY STAR and choosing high efficient gas appliances. Building more efficiently benefits the builder by offering enhanced quality, the property owner by increased marketability and ultimately the tenant gains a comfortable and efficient living space.
