Energy Trust ENERGY STAR® Retail Program
The ENERGY STAR Products program has established one of the most successful residential appliance and lighting programs in Oregon, offering incentives on residential ENERGY STAR clothes washers, refrigerators and consumer buydowns on ENERGY STAR lighting. This long-running market transformation program supports the increase of ENERGY STAR qualified products and manufactured housing. Utility-funded since 2004, the premium efficiency clothes washer incentive program, Savings with a Spin, has contributed over 4 million incentives and saved over 16 million kilowatts achieving a meaningful economic and environmental impact for Oregonians. Since 2005, the ENERGY STAR Manufactured Housing program has supported manufactured housing retailers with education, market awareness, incentives, outreach, and training.
Energy Trust strongly supports consumers and retailers throughout Oregon with a strategy of increasing awareness and market share of ENERGY STAR qualified products through consumer incentives, manufacturer lighting buydown incentives promotions, outreach, and ENERGY STAR field training.
