Idaho Power Heating & Cooling Efficiency Program
The Idaho Power Heating & Cooling Efficiency Program offers incentives to residential customers in Idaho Power’s territory for the purchase and installation of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment and services. The program’s aim is to help customers reduce their energy use in an effort to reduce the growing energy demand in the Idaho Power territory.
The Program offers contractor training to provide all of the necessary information and tools for the proper installation and sizing of high-efficiency equipment. This ensures the system’s performance is maximized and helps the customer achieve actual savings. Once the contractors are trained, they are listed on the Idaho Power website, where customers can easily obtain incentive forms and a list of all participating contractors.
PECI creates partnerships with contractors to generate sales of energy-efficient equipment and increase efficient operation of heating and cooling equipment. Customers are provided with trained and knowledgeable contractors to assist them in increasing the energy savings in their homes during the heating and cooling season.
