MODEL COMMISSIONING PLANS AND GUIDE SPECIFICATIONS Version 2.05, February, 1998, by PECI, original versions (1-2.04) funded by USDOE, Seattle Regional Support Office. Version 2.04 was distributed by PECI in 1997 and by USDOE in 1998, with USDOE referenced in the footer of each file. Since that version, changes and additions have been made by PECI without review by USDOE; subsequently in Version 2.05 the reference to USDOE has been removed from the footers. Individual files may have been updated without changing the overall version number. An uptodate history of changes is found in the file history.__. To make the text in this document word wrap when viewing in Notepad, choose /Edit/Word Wrap. All files have been compressed, but will self-expand. The ~102 files and 7 subdirectories have been archived in two files: spec&pln.exe and cxtests.exe. The files are in MS Word 6.0 and a few files in MS Excel 5.0 for Windows 3.1. The filename is found in the footer of each document page. Directions: 1. Make a new destination directory on your hard drive. 2. Copy the two files, spec&pln.exe and cxtexts.exe to the destination directory. 3. From File Manager, double click on one of the .exe files. When the dialogue box appears, make sure the "Extract To" drive and directory are the current ones, or the ones you want all files put into. Then select the "Extract" button in the lower left. Make no other selections in the dialogue box. 4. The files will self expand into directories with files in each directory. Press F5 to refresh the screen and see the file names. A copy of the original .exe archive file will remain intact and reusable. 5. Double click on the other .exe file and extract it like the first. 6. When done, you should have 7 directories: From spec&pln.exe: desireqr.pt1 desiplan.pt2 gidespec.pt3 consplan.pt4 conforms.pt4 From cxtests.exe: prefunct.pt3 functests.pt3 A summary of the contents of each directory is given below. 7. To determine precisely how all the files, notebook tabs, etc. should be ordered to build a notebook like the original hard copy notebook, refer to the file all_ovr.vu_ in the desireqr.pt1 directory. 8. The main overview for the entire document is found in the desireqr.pt1 directory in the file all_over.vu_. This should be read first. 9. A more detailed overview of the specification section is found in the file spec_ovr.vu_ in the gidespec.pt3 directory and should be read before looking at the specifications. 10. Be careful to not accidentally double-click on an .exe file when you are copying it to its destination directory, or it will self-extract into multiple files right then. If you do this, the original .exe file will still be there and can still be copied to the destination directory. 11. Using the documents: This work is in the public domain and may be copied and distributed at will. However, once files have been edited they should have any reference to PECI or USDOE removed from the footers. When appropriate, referencing the original source of the documents would be appreciated. 12.
