Industry Outreach
Part of PECI’s mission is to collaborate with key market players to support the development of a strong industry around energy-efficient building practices. Our work in this area ensures that all members of the commercial building and energy efficiency community have access to resources and professional support that reflect the most important issues in the growing world of commissioning.

Building Commissioning Association
PECI provides administrative and executive leadership for the Building Commissioning Association (BCA), an international, non-profit organization that serves as the recognized authority and resource on commissioning. The mission of the BCA is to guide the building commissioning industry through advancing best practices and education, and promoting the benefits of building commissioning.

California Commissioning Collaborative
PECI has long been an active supporter of the commissioning industry infrastructure in California. In 2000, we worked with public- and investor-owned utilities, engineering firms, and state agencies to help organize the California Commissioning Collaborative (CCC), which formed as a non-profit corporation in 2004. We continue to provide administrative and executive leadership for the CCC and carry out research, training, and outreach projects to support commissioning in California.

National Conference on Building Commissioning
As the founder of the National Conference on Building Commissioning, PECI has catalyzed the discussion, research, and development of quality-assurance strategies for commercial buildings in North America. By bringing together building owners, architects, commissioning providers, and other professionals, the Conference plays an integral role in fostering the growth of a strong, dynamic commissioning industry. This year’s conference takes place April 22-24 in Newport Beach, CA.
