Phil’s an industry veteran. With over 30 years’ experience in the field, his insight and vision guide PECI, always keeping us one step ahead in the energy efficiency market.

To Phil, it’s all about making ideas work harder, about taking what’s already successful and then advancing it even farther. He knows this can’t happen without the people behind PECI, and he knows that people this good could be working anywhere. Phil’s priority is to create a work space where creative thinking is always valued, where people can share their ideas, grow, and succeed. The proof is in the long-time employees that remain at PECI. “Great people, dedicated, amazingly intelligent, and fast” is how Phil describes his team.

Phil’s background includes working as a consultant for utility and government organizations developing utility energy services business plans and marketing programs, including managing utility restructuring policy for the City of Portland, serving on the Idaho staff of the Northwest Power Planning Council, and as the Director of the Idaho Office of Energy. In addition to leading PECI, he participates in a variety of efficiency industry forums.

When not in the office figuring out the next industry shift with long-reaching and long-lasting energy savings opportunities, Phil’s hooked on remodeling his house. He even makes time for teaching some karate, and always time for his family.
