Simply put, Amanda wanted to do good in the world, and she saw energy efficiency and using resources as wisely as possible as the way to do it. Up until the time she joined our group, Amanda was spreading the energy efficiency word in one way or another, either through teaching, writing, or researching, relying on her technical background to promote her endeavors.

Amanda was referred to PECI where she started her career as a Project Coordinator, but quickly worked her way up where she’s now Director of Large Commercial programs. “You can carve out a piece of the company and grow with it.” And that’s exactly what she did. Amanda feels she’s a developer at heart, developing new programs and teams is a strength she has that was nurtured at PECI, where she took an idea, won work, built a team, and as a result, a new sector was launched.

Besides developing new program ideas, Amanda combines an understanding of the technical aspects of energy efficiency with excellent communication, problem solving and management skills. She excels at finding practical solutions to complex problems and always with a focus on quality, in whatever work she does.

Another big lover of the outdoors, Amanda can be found out in nature when not at work, with her young family biking, hiking, cross country sking or kayaking.
